  Not a huge range but the quality is excellent. The sausages are really good (try the lemon & thyme) as are the free range chickens which have so much flavour. The service is great as they are so friendly and not at all patronising like you can get in some places. Top marks!

  Westdene Butchers is well worth a visit. I'm lucky enough to live close. The guys there are really friendly, very knowledgeable and care about their trade. My favourites are the chicken kebabs they make up for the summer: great value and really tasty. My sister always buys up their pies in bulk when she visits Brighton!

  utstanding local butchers run by a guy with a great attitude and big smile. The homemade sausages and bacon are delicious, the Westdene Special being perfect for a Sunday morning fry-up. Also offers a taste of Africa with bilong and boerewors both made on the premises - I am hooked!!
