I used the salon for the first time, taking 'advantage' of the 20% discount on colour treatment, only to be completely ripped off by being charged £70 - for a mans cut and colour. The stylist who did my colour and cut was nice enough, friendly and chatty, but the other staff members were rude and often carrying on with personal conversations right out on the shop floor. Even the manager seemed more preoccupied by sorting out her car insurance whilst out on the floor. Over all, I am happy enough with my hair cut, it feels a little chopped in to, but the colour did come out nice. I would suggest Usual Suspects clearly state their price list on the window when offering such discounts, as I think I was pretty much sold down the river as being a first time customer, given to a top tiered stylist who clearly charges considerably more. I didn't leave a tip - being a student, I'll be eating rice for a month to make up for the expense!
