Originally built to keep our neighbours away, the fort now welcomes all to see it's history since 1860. It had to undergo major restoration to get it to its present state.WW2 and WW1 obviously take up most of the exhibits. There are a variety of films and interactive exhibits.Probably only enough here for half a day. There's a lot of empty rooms too!Nice cafe with good quality but basic food. The organic cakes are very nice!I would be wary taking very young children here as there are numerous potentially dangerous areas.
