• Why can't I give no stars?

  I had a very unpleasant experience in here last night and will NEVER be going here again.The service was rushed (our pizzas which came out literally seconds after our starter had been taken away, was over cook, the crust was inedible and had obviously been in the oven some time) and towards the end of the meal they stood around yawning, folding there arms and generally making us feel uncomfortable.Then they tried to trick us into tipping twice by adding 10% service charge to the bill and then the card machine asked if I wanted to give a gratuity.When I told the waitress I would be paying the service charge in cash and asked her to remove if from the bill she had to check with the manager and then came back and asked for the £5.38 service charge.I told her as it was a tip I would leave what ever I wanted, she then told me it states in their menu that the service charge was compulsory.She brought a colleague over and I explained why we were not happy with the service and he then blamed us for not having told them sooner.I had originally intended to leave a few pounds tip, but after all this I left nothing at all – and I told them so.Without a doubt the worst service in Brighton and Hove, some of our food was good but all of it was over priced.Be warned.
