  we went here on a Times offer and it was a real surprise, cute little restaurant tucked away in the corner of the Square, excellent staff and atmosphere and wonderful home cooked British foodwe had roast chicken and a steak and both were fantastic, cooked perfectly and just the right size portion so you don't leave feeling so stuffed that you can't moveGreat selection of wines and soft drinks too , definitely worth calling in for an early evening meal or a relaxing romantic dinner for two

• Great place in central Brighton

  Really good, well cooked food.I had a starter of really crispy, fresh fried calamari, followed by a steak. The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it (very difficult to find places that do that), and served by a friendly and attentive waitress.It's got a really nice atmosphere, with some tasteful artwork on the walls, and prices are surprisingly reasonable considering it's location. I'd thoroughly recommend it if you are visiting.
