Master Socket Renew Repair Replace.

The Master Socket, NTE-5 or main termination point. This item is not always recognised by the customer when talking to on-line support or BT, undo the two screws on the front plate and you will find a test point inside, not always!!!! If you are unsure if you have the CORRECT or new type MASTER SOCKET with a test point, look in my gallery or in the BT phone book, around page 4 or 5 at the front of the book, "Information about BT". Fault report.The master socket when wired correctly will give you a good idication if you have a telephone fault in your home or if the fault is outside. If you dont have a master socket dont leave it till you have a fault, have one fitted and get the wiring checked, WHEN was the last time you had your telephone cables rewired???never!!!JJ
