Visited Steki’s on 27th Aug 2011, certainly WON’T go back!!!!!!!!!! Food is bland and boring; I had Stifado which was swimming in oil with no taste at all, look like Tesco value meal!!!! My partner’s Lamb Chop was dry and tasteless also Steki’s is certainly overpriced and the staff are rude and condescending. £物是垃圾中的垃圾废物,难吃死的!! 服务差, 使人发呕, 价格贵, 不值一去!!!!!

  • 5 Absolutely brilliant (and authentic)

I discovered this greek restaurant/taverna while on a day out in Brighton. Even though it's on the main road facing the beach it's really easy to miss, however it is a real hidden gem and thoroughly recommended. I am Greek and have lived in Greece for thirty years, so I know my Greek food when I see it, and this is as close to authentic as no other Greek restaurant I have ever dined at. The choice of food is overwhelming but everything was cooked to brilliant quality. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, and the waiting staff were very friendly. The mezedes were flavoursome and the portions very generous. I would recommend "gigantes plaki", runner beans cooked in red sauce, moussaka and many of the salads. By the end of our meal we were stuffed and had no room for desert. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Brighton!!

We have always loved visiting greece and loved the fantasic freshly cooked greek dishes that you find in every local taverna, so we decided to try steki's taverna in brighton, situated right on the brighton sea front so you can not miss it. It was on the whole fairly good, with average decor and we enjoyed most of our meal. The menu did include various meze selections, the usual greek salads and a good variety of barbecued dishes too. So plenty to choose fromDesserts are made in greece so are rather well travelled and the taverna’s other dishes are made to authentic greek recipes. Steki’s is open from Sunday to Friday, until around 11pm and a little later on Saturdays It was reasonably busy when we were there.
