My husband and I visited here for a pub lunch, based on their local reputation for good food. The prices averaged at £7-£8 for a dish off the main menu, at the foot of the page was a tag line stating their food was home cooked and only fresh veg was used.... My husband ordered fish and chips, which consisted of a breaded piece of fish you would expect to get in a budget box from Iceland, poor quality chips and I would presume frozen peas; it was dreadful. I ordered the lasagne, which was micro-waved fresh from the freezer, was utterly devoid of flavour; and was basically glutenous slodge, which had a shiny look to the sauce, suggesting to me it was bought in. To sum up, a complete waste of money and time. The only reason I've given this pub one star is because I had to, to be able to publish this review!
