Redroaster is the best coffee shop in Brighton with the nicest staff. The coffee is delicious, roasted on the premises and also available to buy ground or as beans to take home. Every time I amble up St James Street with my take-out morning latte I feel like popping into the well known chain that has opened across the road and telling them to put down their warm milkshakes and head over to Redroaster to get a taste of what real coffee should be like.
The best cup of coffee in Brighton. They roast their own beans on the premises to the absolute best of their ability. It's how coffee is meant to be.The cakes and pastries available are also delicious, as is their hot chocolate. I can't fault it!Don't forget you can buy a cup of Red Roaster coffee in the North Laine too if you happen to be passing the Komedia. Every other coffee place is inferior. Get the best.

I absolutely loved this coffee shop!! It had a really friendly atmosphere which is unusual for a generic franchise and is something I haven’t experienced before. It was weird, the atmosphere made you feel you could talk to anyone in there, which is what most people were doing. Something they put in the coffee perhaps? Don’t know! The coffee is as you would expect, nothing out of the ordinary there. The prices are also on par with all other franchised coffee shops. However, what sets it apart from others is the fabulous service and friendly staff. Its clear that they take customer service seriously! You are certainly made to feel like an individual in this one!

This place is legendary. You often have to queue for quite a while, but that is because everything about their coffee is meticulous. Their coffee is the thing of legends. Go there and have an iced latte with gomme. It's the best drink I've ever tasted!

I'm not a natural coffee drinker, but Red Roaster does the best Latte in town. It's slightly shabby, and sometimes displays some truly awful local artwork, but it legendary for the quality of the coffee. You better know your Americano from your Espresso though as the counter staff can be pretty sniffy if you don't!

I have dreams about how good the coffee is. Maybe I'm spoiled by the decor of chain coffee-houses, but I'm not so sure about the interior design. But who cares about the interior when the coffee is so great?

You'll find me popping in here for a cappuccino most mornings, not just because it's right next door to my office, but also because of the fantastic coffee they serve. Recommended.
