As a brand new adult rider this is the best school in the area(ive tried the others also) this is the only school where I felt they truly focused 100 % on me in my lessona nd I felt 100% safe. excellent school xxx
I learnt to ride at this stables in 2000 and made the mistake of transferring to Three Greys Riding School (which I do not recommend). At Chestnuts, Richard, Sue and the other workers look after the horses and ponies really well and care about the wellbeing of them as well as their workers.
I have ridden at Chestnuts for many years and I never cease to enjoy it. I actually drive from London most weekends. The horses are very wondersfully looked after at Chestnuts. Richard and Sue do not view them as money making machines as certain other stables regard theirs, rather they are treated with kindness and respect. The riding is superb with no roadwork involved; straight up on to the downs, and the teaching is excellent. I would (and do) recommend Chestnuts very highly to all riders of all abilities.
Chestnuts riding school is a fab ridin school. The ponies are bomb proof and very reliable and in all the five years I have been going there I have never fallen off! Sue and Richard put an incredible amount of effort into looking after and caring for all of the horses and ponies, and have made a fantastic riding school!
