My parents, Peter & Mary got married in January 1962 - a winter wedding(!) and then came down South to take over Brookside Caravan Park from its previous owner, a Mr. Len Buss, in February ready for the start of the 1963 season in March! March 2012 will therefore be the 50th anniversary of the Renny family owning Brookside and providing family holidays and holiday caravans in Lyminster, Littlehampton. I am very proud to be carrying on the family tradition here and warmly welcome ex-owners and holidaymakers to pop in during 2012 and say hello or just have another look around to see what has changed (and what hasn't!). Hello folks.

What a beautiful week we have just had at the beginning of October. We were full and are now fully booked until the end of October! Littlehampton beach (and every other I guess) was packed and the queue from Fred's fish and chip shop went down (and down) pier road - a lovely autumn treat that we all took advantage of. So here's to summer holidays in April and October next year (as well as a glorious May through September please).

We have vacancies in the Brookside holiday bungalow during November and the early part of December but then nothing available until next March - the weekly price is £500 including linen supplied (except towels) and the bungalow sleeps six people. Water, gas and electric are included also. As I write this, sunshine is still streaming in through the office windows so why not book a week in November?

I missed blogging last month as it was so busy on the park but am back now with details of two superb 2011 caravans coming up for sale at the end of October. We have had two especially made Delta 2011 Brookside Bromley 26' x 10' units on our letting list this year. They have proved extremely popular, especially out of season as they are double glazed and have central heating (4 radiators). Hello again from us all here at Brookside in July 2011. The weather seems to have been good to us here on the South Coast (the met office having officially informed that our area IS THE SUNNIEST in the country...HURRAH!) and we have seen the local carnivals come and go successfully. Lyminster fete is this Saturday (16th July) and you might bag yourself a bargain there (or go autograph hunting - Maid Marian from BBC Robin Hood is opening the fete).

On the park we are filling up nicely and only have a very few vacancies left for July and August. You can check these out at http://www.brooksideuk.com/ but please do hurry.
