About Us

Brief description

Rushfields Plant Centre welcomes you to their nursery. They are proud to grow many of their own plants, with a dedicated team led by Lin, no amount of effort or energy is spared in ensuring that the plants that they grow, both here at Rushfields and on their nursery at Henfield, are of the highest quality. They grow a wide range of seasonal plants; Spring and Summer Bedding Plants, Roses, Vegetable Plants, Patio and Container plants, Hanging Baskets and finally ending the year with Poinsettia. At Rushfields, they take environmental issues seriously, they re-cycle or re-use most of their plastic and pots, all of their green waste is taken away and turned into garden mulch, by a company called Olus. They also re-cycle their water through a filtration system. By using Compost tea and biological pest control, they have greatly reduced the use of chemicals. Compost tea is an organic mixture brewed by them in the nursery and used to water their plants regularly. This brew promotes stronger roots, healthier leaves and greater disease resistance.
