  • 1 Shockingly bad customer service!

    I purchased a Berghaus fleece as a Birthday present for my partner. He wore it for 5 days and the zip came off. I returned to the store to ask for an exchange or refund and the owner of Johns Camping flatly refused to refund OR exchange even though it was within 2 weeks and I had a valid receipt. The owner was extremely rude to me and I left in a flood of tears. I have now complained to Trading Standards and have contacted Blacks who are Berghaus stockists and they have offered to contact their Berghaus representative and sort this out for me which is something the owner of Johns Camping refused to do. I will NEVER frequent this retail outlet again. Be warned! you will not be refunded from this store.

    Great camping and hiking shop in brighton. friendly service and the advice is always spot on. I can browse for ages and never feel hassled. It's definately my first point of call when i need anything new and the range so far has never let me down.
